MUSIC THERAPY

Music has a variety of uses in the counselling process. It can help to create a safe space and allow a regulation of sensory responses, helping clients to interact in a comfortable setting.

COMFORTABLE COUNSELLING

Counselling can be an emotional and difficult process, especially when dealing with past traumas, grief, social isolationa and depression.

As part of our regular counselling services we utilise personalised background music to create a safe space and assist with emotional regulation. Music therapy has proven benefits in being able to express and convey emotions better than words.

Music can help process painful and traumatic emotions, but it can also be empowering and consoling for the individual, helping the healing process in a gentle way.

Our music therapy sessions can be conducted either face-to-face or remote with a fully qualified counsellor.
