HELPING & UNDERSTANDING IS OUR THING

We believe in making a difference in the lives of all our clients. Hands on support that gets real results.

Autism affects everyday behaviours such as how one feels, thinks, interacts with others and experiences their environment. Our support can assist with personal skill development, carer support and NDIS coordination.

Feeling overwhelmed, experiencing panic attacks, irritability and feelings of worry are all manageable symptoms of anxiety and depression. We can help provide you with mechanisms and strategies to help cope with negative experiences that may occur in the future.

Traumatising events within an individual's life can inhibit their daily functioning or lifestyle, and cause ongoing stress and debillitating anxiety. Therapy and support services can help to manage the daily struggles that individuals face.

Being a carer for someone else can be a full-time job, and often it can be difficult to ask or find the help you need. Our carer support services include coaching, counselling, peer support groups, advice and information resources.

More than physically being alone, loneliness occurs when someone feels a lack of connection even if they are surrounded by many people. Social integration within the community is the best strategy.

Often the most difficult part of mental illnesses is overcoming the stigma attached to them. Gaining control of the altered reality to function every day is the desired outcome.

Extreme mood changes and difficulty focusing on daily tasks can be inhibiting or overwhelming. Treatment isn't about ending the bipolar, but enabling life to be managed in a fulfilling way.

As COVID-19 slowly starts to transition to a normal part of daily life, the lasting impacts of previous isolations and anxiety of illness can still linger for some.

Uncontrollable dependancy on something can cause both physical and emotional harm on both the individual plus the fallout on those around. Learning to control and reduce addiction is challenging but acknowledgement is the first step.

Often some of the most debilitating disabilities cannot be seen by others. We want to empower you to take back control of your mind.

PBS aims to improve the quality of life and self-esteem in those with a disability who experience challenging behaviours.
