YOU’RE IMPORTANT

Being a carer for someone else can be a full-time job, and often it can be difficult to ask or find the help you need. Our carer support services include coaching, counselling, peer support groups, advice and information resources.

HOW WE HELP

Looking after family members and friends who have a disability, mental illness or addiction is a big responsibility for carers. Their role may include the physical and personal care of daily activities, or simply carrying the emotional and social support.

Alongside those they are caring for, carers themselves need to ensure they are feeling well supported physically and mentally.

We understand that it’s not always a chosen career, but not one that many would give up. Counselling, peer to peer support, respite and learning strategies can all be provided.
