IS LIFE FEELING CHAOTIC & DISRUPTIVE?

Overwhelmed? Frustrated? Not handling behaviours like you would like to?
We’re here to help families managing challenging emotions and behaviours.

We care. We know positive behaviour support is a journey that can be taken together, with personalised support and care strategies.

Listening but not being Heard

When a child feels like they’re not being listened to or heard, attention seeking behaviour can evolve. Promoting confidence and empowering a child who may feel out of control can provide enourmous benefits to behaviour.

There is no one size fits all solution and each child and family as a whole benefit from positive behaviour support.

Sourcing the Triggers

Often ‘naughty’ behaviour is seen as attention seeking or a disruptive child who needs discipline. Yet  the triggering behaviour is often overlooked. Positive behaviour support aims to look beyond the behaviour to the cause or trigger – is there frustration which cannot be verbalised, or a sensory overwhelm caused by certain situations or actions?

Aleviating or adapting to the trigger are major parts of positive behaviour support plans and a step towards removal of restrictive practices which may be in place.
